ARCHIVE NUMBER SIX
News Reports

I apologise for the long delay in updating the News Report. In common with most ministers and ministries today, I am under constant pressure from one source or another and rarely find quality time for research and writing.

There have been a few changes to the site, however, as I slowly make my way around the hundreds of different sections making adjustments, corrections and adding new material.

ADDITIONAL MATERIAL - NEW * NEW * NEW * NEW * NEW *

New Developments - gold miracle workers try to gag the facts!

One ministry that is pushing the supernatural manifestations described below reacted with intimidation and threats, demanding that I remove every detail of their particulars from my website!

Now, as every genuine writer knows, quoting one small paragraph from any work, copyrighted or not, for the purposes of review is perfectly legal, especially when acknowledgment is given. However, even that acknowledgment in the form of a weblink is now being challenged. In fact anyone is free to give a link to another website legally and without asking permission.

Because this ministry demanded the removal of all quotes and weblinks, I can only tell you that Darrell Stott is the head of the REVIVE-ALL ORGanisation on the Internet, and if you do by chance happen to stumble over that website you will find many examples of supernatural manifestations, including oil, rocks, glory chips, gold dust, gold teeth, the cloud, and the purple lightning described below.

You will discover that, in his own estimation, "God has annointed [sic] Darrel with many gifts. Darrel loves to minister to the broken hearted and hurting" and if you want to find out about all the gifts that Darrel has, he'll be only too glad to tell you on his website, but you'll have to find it all by yourself I'm afraid because they won't let me tell you where it is.

DARRELL STOTT - FAVOURED OF GOD OR FRAUD??

The story goes that in 1999 in Jakata, Indonesia, as he was driving along the street the Glory Cloud physically appeared - something he'd been seeing since 1994 according to his story. This cloud actually got into the car beside him through the windshield. Then it followed him down the street into the hotel. Later, when he was preaching with another revivalist called Jeff Good from Greater Life Assembly in Orlando, Florida, this glory cloud physically appeared, got into the car once more and afterwards followed him to the church; not only that but it kept reappearing frequently afterwards.

Darrel Stott not only has personal visitations of the Shekinah Glory that once appeared in the Temple of God (rendering all the priests insensible and throwing them to the ground with its might and majesty), but this visitation of God hitches a ride in Darrel's car and follows him down the street. Impressive.

So let me go on to describe Darrell's further encounters with God, in the form of purple lightning:

After he left Orlando, he says, in the airplane going home a bolt of purple lightning shot across the aisle, circled his head, popped and flashed and danced around him for some forty minutes. Then it went into a spiral formation around four foot in diameter, a spinning-wheel of gold right next to him, so bright it was hard to watch for any length of time. This, says Darrel, was the brightness and glory of Jesus. After that Jesus appeared to him as a glory cloud three times in one day. Far from understanding the significance of all these divine visitations, he asked John Arnott (kingpin of the Toronto Blessing) for guidance. Arnott reportedly said, Darrel I think it is all about the closeness of the return of the Lord.

Interestingly, not only Darrel Stott but many other practitioners of these supernatural manifestations see them as precursors to the "return of the Lord" - BUT, they are no longer talking about the physical, bodily reappearance of Jesus Christ as described in the book of Revelation, but a spiritual manifestation IN THE CLOUDS.

They misquote such verses as this one below to mean that we should expect the coming of Jesus in a glory cloud!

Mark 13:26 "And then shall they see the Son of man coming in the clouds with great power and glory."

Certainly, there is a growing expectation of a powerful new move coming, a build-up of signs and wonders, leading to the appearance of ... somebody!. However, if he comes before the Tribulation and the Wrath of God who else can he be but the counterfeit christ?

BULLETIN BOARD

Most of you will already have realised that the BBB (Banner Bulletin Board) has ended and has been removed from the site. This was not through want of activity but for a variety of other reasons - spiritual, personal and practical.

For those who missed my announcement at the time, and would like to read my final message to the BBB community, here it is:

By Tricia Tillin (Admin) on Sunday, March 11, 2001:

Dear Ones, I feel such as part of you and appreciate so much your love and prayers. This has been a personal crisis and a very tough decision for me. I feel - in honour to you - I should explain just a little of what God is showing me and where He's leading me. I don't know everything yet but I will share what I do know and I pray it witnesses with you.

This time of sharing and fellowship has been very useful and blessed, and I know many have found friends and fellowship here that they badly needed.

This is perhaps part of what we might be doing next, moving more into a time of personal interaction and mutual encouragement rather than the sharing of information; and to do so "face to face" rather than in a more public arena. There are good reasons for that and as the Lord leads us on into what I believe is a new phase of this endtimes battle, we will all surely begin to see the reasons for what He is doing, even though we do not fully see it now.

You see, I have slowly been losing sight of (having been drawn away by busyness and circumstances) one of the most basic beliefs that undergirds my ministry: that my calling is to point people to JESUS as the ONLY one who can change, strengthen, deliver and lead them. My ministry began about 15 years ago with a strong impression or "picture" of a battlefield with people wandering about bruised, bewildered and uncoordinated, with no focal point to rally them or show them direction. On a hill was the battle standard, the banner of Jesus, and God showed me that I was to draw attention to and lift up that banner to all who needed direction and were seeking answers, that HE might be the answer to their need. The foundational verse of my ministry is:

Isa 62:10-12 Go through, go through the gates; prepare ye the way of the people; cast up, cast up the highway; gather out the stones; lift up a standard for the people. Behold, the LORD hath proclaimed unto the end of the world, Say ye to the daughter of Zion, Behold, thy salvation cometh; behold, his reward is with him, and his work before him. And they shall call them, The holy people, The redeemed of the LORD: and thou shalt be called, Sought out, A city not forsaken.

And allied to that is:

Isa 59:19b When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the LORD shall lift up a standard against him.

So my calling is not really as a "discernment minister" or apologetics or anti-cult minister, one who wars against doctrinal error, although people always perceived it that way and I grew so weary of trying to correct that impression that finally I caved in to it as being easier than trying to explain the differences. I imagined in setting up a forum for isolated Christians that it would be a useful way of fostering fellowship (and yes to an extent it has fulfilled that aim) but the way of things, increasingly and as a natural result of the times we live in, meant that the percentage of spiritual upbuilding kept being outweighed by the informational and debating aspects, and without putting a very strong hand on the rudder which I do NOT believe it's my place to do, I could not prevent that inevitable course of action taking place.

If I saw myself as a "leader" to the Church, as a pastor, elder or teacher maybe I would have "taken charge" here and sat amongst you as one who pronounced on doctrine and led strongly from the front in making sure nobody received any false teaching or indulged in iffy thoughts and practises. However, that is not my proper place. It would also have required that I had information on many more things than it is possible for one person to know. But a watchman (especially a female one) does not set or enforce moral or spiritual codes.

A watchman is called to do two equal things: to shout out warning of sin and error and to lift up the truth and person of God. Beyond that he or she has no remit to *enforce* obedience to God's word, but leaves it to the people to decide. If you will read the work of the OT prophets or look at the ministry of John the Baptist (who had the same role in making preparing for the coming of the Lord) you'll see that they called the people to repent and recommit to God, and their pointing out of errors was only in relation to that, not as an end in itself.

Perhaps some of you have indeed seen for yourselves the differences in my approach, on my website at least - that my aim is not JUST to "have a go" at people and organisations, expose people, expose ministries and to present lots and lots of information on these things, even though that was a necessary part of it - my aim has always been, by exposing the roots of error, to lead people to make a new commitment to Jesus as the Source of all truth, and to renew themselves in holiness and righteousness, casting out all that is leading them to error, in themselves as well as in their church lives, including the tendency to the flesh and to dependency on other people.

However, people being what they are, oftentimes this backfired and what was asked of me (demanded of me by many) was simply "information/facts". There's a fatal flaw in that. Deceptions come and go; they are temporary, but the things of God are eternal. If a person comes to me asking for information on Randy Shankle (for example) I can give that maybe - BUT, has that person grown in grace or become less prone to error as a result? No. Because although being warned about one aspect of deception, their interior life and spiritual relationship with Jesus has not changed as a result. They are just as likely to be in ignorance about the next man they come across and have to seek information all over again.

The biblical meaning of "ministry" is a "service" to the Body, and that service is to present Jesus in whatever way we are enabled -whether it be by teaching, intercession, spiritual gifts or just handing out tracts or tea and biscuits. All is to bring people into a deeper walk with Jesus that protects them against EVERY attack of evil, in whatever form.

Christians only perceive the dangers for themselves when they cleanse their minds of what is contrary to a sound walk and sound doctrine, and when they commit themselves one hundred percent to God, allowing Him to rule them and guide them. THAT - dear brothers and sisters - is what I most yearn for. That is what I must try somehow to do, and that is what we must all do.

The reason may be that we are now going into deeper waters that require every ounce of our spiritual fortitude and understanding, and great reserves of faith. None of this is found by the exchange of information or discussions, no matter how helpful. There is nothing wrong with those things (don't get me wrong) but in their proper place and not as a substitute for developing our faith and coming into a close walk with God.

In the longrun, it is God the Rock who will shield us, not how much we KNOW. Indeed, I think that the next deception will attack us in a place where mere knowledge (even head knowledge of the Bible) will not be enough.

Whosoever does not have the interior truth (for God requires "truth in the INWARD parts", not just in word or deed) that remains steady and sure even when receiving blow after blow from forces seeking to remove it from its proper place, and whoever cannot find a place of refuge from the storm in the person and nature of God as well as His eternal truths, but runs instead to man-made substitutes that give man-made peace - that person is "double-minded and unstable in all his ways James 1:6-8" and will not come into the blessing. That is the person who will end up believing the lie, and will betray his brothers and sisters further down the line.

Whoever does not, in all sincerity and in deed as well as word, love God above all else will encounter a terrible stumbling-block soon and merely "knowing about deception" will be a very poor preparation for that. Much more is needful, and these things are not found on mailing lists or bulletin boards but at the feet of Jesus.

So we are dividing, as a Body, into two regiments here, and not along the lines that we first perceived (i.e. for or against the revival) but along more subtle lines that few of us see as yet. The dividing line this time will be between those who have a genuine heart for God and for truth despite all variation or pressure from internal or external sources, and those who love God and want his will in a general sense but who cannot let go entirely of emotions, hidden desires, controlling influences, soul ties, family commitments and loyalties, personal ambitions and hopes and dreams - and a whole host of other "things" that appear to be perfectly good and godly, but in fact are going to be an encumbrance in the days to come.

Luke 14:26-30 If any man come to me, and hate not his father, and mother, and wife, and children, and brethren, and sisters, yea, and his own life also, he cannot be my disciple. And whosoever doth not bear his cross, and come after me, cannot be my disciple. For which of you, intending to build a tower, sitteth not down first, and counteth the cost, whether he have sufficient to finish it? Lest haply, after he hath laid the foundation, and is not able to finish it, all that behold it begin to mock him, Saying, This man began to build, and was not able to finish.

That is the dividing line and whosoever is totally one hundred percent committed to God's will and is prepared to "forsake all" even his/her own soul and to DIE to his/her own interests will be on safe ground. All other ground is sinking sand. Now is the hour of decision and I pray each of you will be impressed by God that you have your choice to make.

Exod 32:25-26 And when Moses saw that the people were naked; (for Aaron had made them naked unto their shame among their enemies) then Moses stood in the gate of the camp, and said, Who is on the LORD's side? let him come unto me. And all the sons of Levi gathered themselves together unto him.

Josh 24:15 ... choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.

I appreciate each of you my dearly beloved brothers and sister in Christ, and for two years you have been my family. I hope therefore that we will ALL be praying and be ready for our part in what is to come, whatever that is to be. May God bless you.

Tricia

Oddly enough (or is it odd in the purposes of God?) the above post to the BBB covers just about everything personal that I wanted to say here. The months since that post have not contradicted but only strengthened my impression that the next broadside loosed against genuine believers will be both vicious and subtle. Vicious in that it will put pressure upon us that is almost unendurable; and subtle in that it will hit those parts that we hadn't thought about protecting (our deepest and most cherished emotions, our allegiances, ambitions, desires, worries and hidden traumas etc) in fact so subtle that - to many - it won't seem like an attack at all.

I want to say this: be VERY sure that your feet are on the ROCK of JESUS ONLY, and not on and SANDY foundation. To each one, that will mean something different so I leave you to pray it through.

One early attempt to put this into words was a pre-Toronto article entitled "Spirit of Love" and it's found HERE. Please read it and think about it.

NEWS IN BRIEF

There does seem to be a concerted effort going on to bring the New Order to completion, in the world and in the realm of religion. Things are coming rapidly to a head. The pope has been extra busy interfering in maters of politics and religion, trying to draw people together on the basis of false unity and "forgiveness" which is just a cover for compromise.

He's visited Greece to apologise to the Orthodox communion, and Syria to apologise to the Muslims. Church leaders used to be so keen, at one time, to denounce other religions as being contrary to the plan of God but now political correctness is being embraced by all, including the pope. He of course has a vested interest, as he seems to believe that his mission on earth is to launch us all into a New Era of harmony and peace where all men are bothers. To which I say - good luck.

One thing that is bringing all religions together is "spiritual experiences". These - being personal and subjective - are not "divisive" as they circumvent empirical proofs and the written word of scripture. All religions and cults, and most ordinary people too, will accept profound mystical "experiences" as a valid foundation for change, and I believe that is one route into the final deception that will grip the entire world.

SEEING THE LIGHT

For instance, listen to this report from a national newspaper that says "Christians, Jews and Muslims all see the light".

Research at the University of Wales has detected a common core to experiences which crosses boundaries of culture and faith - all people share a common spirituality regardless of religious affiliation, they say. Accounts of spiritual experiences have been collated since 1969 and about one thousand of them refer to light. Christians described it as an encounter with Jesus, and Muslims interpreted it as an angel. Jews saw it as a sign of insight or an experience with God. The light often "enters the room" and envelops people, or fills them.

It never seems to occur to Christians that Lucifer's very name means "light-bringer" and he is described in the bible as manifesting as an angel of light.

I personally know Christians who have seen "balls of light" hovering over their bed, but because I know their spiritual situation and the circumstances, I know it was not God. Demons in fact have often manifested as flashes or beings or balls of light and when I hear such testimonies (especially associated with the revival) I take it with a VERY large pinch of salt.

UNIVERSAL LOVE

When people go looking for spiritual goosebumps and chasing after moonbeams, the devil is happy enough to supply them. It's my belief that the whole world will eventually be seduced into a major spiritual experience - and maybe sooner than we think. This will take the form of (as I've said before on this site) an "overshadowing of love".

In my last news report I let you see a piece by Jill Austin saying "What I want is to make you so hungry for what God is doing that you will not be satisfied with anything less. What happened to me is just a picture of what God wants to do for all that thirst after Him. He wants to release realms of glory and He wants to use you and me to do it. The Lord is bringing a holy invasion of heaven to earth."

An invasion is coming all right, but it's not from the Lord God of Heaven!

NUCLEAR EXPLOSION

Another supposed prophet has seen a vision of this moment as a nuclear explosion so powerful that no man or woman can withstand it, and he immediately linked this to "love" - but not the love of God that we know of through the bible and conventional Christian means, but an "experience" of love inside.

He says:

The point is to go back to the beginning, our first love and experience it. Being transformed totally. The point is this coming explosion is not by my might or yours or any churches it is God's power. Power unfathomable and even unstoppable. It isn't that we can even thwart God's plan. It is that we embrace it and yield to it and participate in it.

This is, you see, an unstoppable power that none can resist. What is required is that men and women submit to it and become transformed.

This is not the biblical definition of God's love. God does love all people, but because of the inherent sin in the human heart and because of the need for redemption, God cannot simply surge down from heaven in a flood of love and overpower people to make them members of his kingdom.

In any case, even if he could, he would not. God's Old Covenant was an agreement to cleanse and bless Abraham's children if they obeyed God's laws and regulations and followed his will. It was a two-way agreement. The New Covenant in the blood of Jesus supersedes that but still has a human requirement. Man must enter willingly into this Covenant by faith, believing on Jesus, and being committed to doing God's will thereafter.

John 14:23-24
Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him. He that loveth me not keepeth not my sayings: and the word which ye hear is not mine, but the Father's which sent me.

John 8:31
Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed.

The "prophet" goes on to say: Can a nation be saved in a day? Can the worst sinner in the world be saved? Yes!

This sounds exciting and positive. But let's examine what is being said here. A nation contains millions of people, some of whom would be members of false religions, many of whom would be opposed to God, atheists or satanists. We have to assume that most of the people of this "nation" are unwilling to become Christians. Yet in "one day" because of an overpowering sensation of "love" they suddenly change tack and accept God. Even "the worst sinner in the world" is saved. Now, I do believe that anybody, even "the worst sinner in the world" CAN be saved, but only if he or she repents and believes! That sinner will not be saved through an overshadowing of love.

God will not overpower a person with feelings of "love" because that would be control and coercion. A Covenant, an agreement, is one that is entered into soberly, mindfully and with due consideration. I have no doubt that conviction of sin, and an encounter with Jesus, can be very moving and powerful for some, but that is not all there is to it!! I believe in "love at first sight" but not marriage at first sight!

This prophet believes that a flood of love as powerful as a nuclear blast will "implode in" and destroy the present-day church and "utterly vaporize it" to bring together a "critical mass" that is needed to finalise God's plan for the earth. That plan (as we know from other prophetic writings) is total UNITY and ONENESS which the writer sees in scriptures such as John 17:23 "I in them and you in me, all being perfected into one. Then the world will know that you sent me and will understand that you love them as much as you love me."

The problem with that, is that this verse has already BEEN FULFILLED in those who know and love the Lord. The promise to all genuine believers is spiritual unity with the Lord and with one another.

All those who have received Him ARE already "perfected" in unity with God and the other members of the Body. "For by one offering he hath perfected for ever them that are sanctified." (Heb 10:14)

ONE OFFERING! Jesus has made that offering, of Himself. Do you think God the Father is looking for anything else, from fallen man, from apostles and prophets, from the Church? Can anything possibly match that One Perfect Offering? What can the Church attain or offer that would match that sacrifice?

We are made one with God when we receive Him: "But he that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit." (1 Cor 6:17)

And "whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him." (I Jn 2:5)

CRITICAL MASS

The "prophet" speaks of a Critical Mass that is need for this implosion of love:

THE CRITICAL MASS: The sun is so huge that gravity causes fissionable material to be dense enough (critical mass) for atoms to collide and split and for that to go on continuously. In a nuclear bomb just the core in an immeasurable instant flashes together... becomes dense enough.... and fission occurs. Atoms splitting atoms and the energy of the creation is released. Unfathomable quantities of energy and explosive force are released.

What is required in fission? The core, my heart, the center of my being is totally saturated with the love of God to the point that we are together-- He in me and I in Him all being perfected into one. Eph 3:19 "May you experience the love of Christ, though it is so great you will never fully understand it. Then you will be filled with the fullness of life and power that comes from God."

I see the church as that core and I see the love of God imploding in on it. And I see the identity it has now being shattered, destroyed and utterly vaporized. Because we, the churches, are being pressed together by God. Critical Mass is going to be achieved and the church will explode with the power of God. We think we have seen the power of God, but we haven't seen anything yet. Can a nation be saved in a day? Can the worst sinner in the world be saved? Yes!

It's no coincidence that the revival churches as well as the New Age movement are talking about "critical mass" since they both teach the same thing - that the world en masse must move into a New Era, a spiritual age, because of an explosion of goodwill and brotherhood that finally reveals our common bond as atoms of one entity on the earth.

Now you and I may recall at this point the book of Revelation which clearly states that mankind will not in fact be saved en masse, but will plunge into greater and greater depths of wickedness, finally coming under the wrath of God which leads to the complete destruction of the world. Global judgement, not global salvation is on the agenda.

However, if we take a look at the writings of a leading new ager, Barbara Marx Hubbard, we see the same kind of reasoning that is now being preached in revivalist churches. Like many in those churches, Hubbard believes she hears the voice of The Christ. But are the words of this "Omnipresent Being" those of God?

"The prophecy of John can be avoided altogether, if you would heal the social body...by total focus on love, truth, wholeness and the goodness of God. The alternative to Armageddon is Planetary Pentecost. When a critical mass is in the "upper room" of consciousness on a planetary scale, each will hear from within in their own language the mighty works of God. All who are attuned will be radically empowered to be and do as Jesus did." (The Revelation: The Book of Co-Creation, page 147)

"Do you on earth have to undergo the collective crucifixion known as The Tribulation in order to rise again in new bodies? The answer depends on how many of you register your intention to do as I did. If a critical mass of the human population were to choose a godlike future, the devastations could be avoided...the critical mass represents those marked with the seal of the living God on their foreheads. They are all now sensing a total urgency to communicate the good news in every language, in all tongues, in a variety of symbols. They are impelled from within to link up with everyone who shares the same aspirations. They are finding eachother at an increasingly rapid rate, brightening the flame of expectation that now rises like fire in the night across the weeping face of my beloved earth." (ibid., page 188)

This "christ" also speaks - as do the revival churches - of a New Order, the New Jerusalem, the overcomers becoming as God, transition, transformation, a global Pentecost experience, a spiritual awakening worldwide, an outpouring of love (but only for those who submit).

"The flame in my eyes is love. It is the fire of attraction from God which operates the universal Design. When you look into my eyes in the fulness of time at the marriage, the flame in your heart will rise to its full height. It will consume every memory of fear; it will ignite every thought of love. It will transfigure you as I was transfigured upon the mountain while the disciples slept." (ibid., page 224)

But this "christ" [again, like church leaders] also speaks of the need for a "selection process" to filter out those who are unwilling to undergo transformation.

I have already written about the plan for cleansing so will not go into that again here. But it's important to know that the thrilling talk of "love" is all undergirded with the belief that only the favoured few will actually make it to this transformed body and new earth; anyone who resists is seen as part of the doomed "old order" and will be destroyed.

In this teaching, it's the bible-loving Christians who are holding back the Global Pentecost, so they must be either reeducated out of their dogma, or else violently removed out of the way.

For all that the "christ" tells his followers that Armageddon and the Tribulation can be avoided if critical mass is reached and enough people consent to the New Order, he leaves the door open to another and more sinister scenario. If the birth into the New Order cannot be done peacefully by consent, it will be achieved by violence and destruction. Either way, any Christian who withstands this lunacy (either in the world or the churches) is targeted.

BUT WITHSTAND IT WE MUST AND WILL!!! What does God say?

PATIENT ENDURANCE AND FAITH

Prov 18:10
The name of the LORD is a strong tower: the righteous runneth into it, and is safe.

Acts 2:21
And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved.

Isa 25:4
For thou hast been a strength to the poor, a strength to the needy in his distress, a refuge from the storm, a shadow from the heat, when the blast of the terrible ones is as a storm against the wall.

Isa 59:19-20
So shall they fear the name of the LORD from the west, and his glory from the rising of the sun. When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the LORD shall lift up a standard against him. And the Redeemer shall come to Zion, and unto them that turn from transgression in Jacob, saith the LORD.

James 5:7-11
Therefore be patient, brethren, until the coming of the Lord. See how the farmer waits for the precious fruit of the earth, waiting patiently for it until it receives the early and latter rain. You also be patient. Establish your hearts, for the coming of the Lord is at hand. Do not grumble against one another, brethren, lest you be condemned. Behold, the Judge is standing at the door! My brethren, take the prophets, who spoke in the name of the Lord, as an example of suffering and patience. Indeed we count them blessed who endure.

Eph 6:13-16
Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.

Gal 5:1
Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage.

1 Tim 4:16
Take heed unto thyself, and unto the doctrine; continue in them: for in doing this thou shalt both save thyself, and them that hear thee.

Luke 21:8
And he said, Take heed that ye be not deceived: for many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and the time draweth near: go ye not therefore after them.

Luke 21:34-36
And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and so that day come upon you unawares. For as a snare shall it come on all them that dwell on the face of the whole earth. Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.

Rev 3:10-11
Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth.
Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown.
